BIOGRAPHY
Sometimes you think these guys are seasoned pros, but actually they’ve been DJing for only 3 years now. In this short amount of time they have made a strong impression on the Dutch club scene and have created quite a following.
These 2 guys are part of Amsterdam based creative collective Vage Gasten and throughout the years they have surprised the public with their diverse electro sounds. They are now successfully blending their beloved electro music with techno, creating techno oriented electro which is a rather new genre that is gaining popularity worldwide.
They have been part of 22tracks.com since its launch in 2009 and are still updating their electro chart weekly, so you can listen to the latest and greatest music in their genre.
Their way of performing and DJing has delivered them gigs at many clubs and on some of Holland’s biggest festivals like: Mysteryland, Solar Weekend, Valtifest, Q-Base, Bevrijdingspop and in the summer of 2011 they were able to add their first international adventure, Sziget festival in Hungary.
Together with designer BDID and the Melkweg in Amsterdam they now have their own clubnight called Rara Aves. This party represents the combination of electro and techno music and every edition they receive the most talented djs representing this genre. Some acts who already played at Rara Aves: TWR72, NT89, Djedjotronic, Mumbai Science, Modek.
After some well received bootlegs and remixes they recently released their first original “GIMME 5” in collaboration with their friends of Baskerville. It was released on Bart B More’s Secure Recordings and received support from the likes of: Fake Blood, Joachim Garraud, Alex Gopher, Sound of Stereo, TAI, Tiesto, Style of Eye Attaque and more.
Expect a new DJ show and a lot of remixes and originals in 2012.
